All are invited to join us as Socks For Siberia presents an “Evening in Siberia” on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 7:00pm in Dugan Hall, Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 10 Milk Street, West Brookfield, Mass. A review of our organization’s history including slide and video presentations of visits to Siberia along with current events and plans for supporting the children in the future. Russian cultural items will also be on display. Light refreshments will be served and this event is free, although free will donations are always welcome! This year’s Asparagus Festival is on Saturday, May 19 from 10am-4pm on the West Brookfield Common.
Socks for Siberia will have our information booth and our signature “Ring Swing Game!” On sale will be Russian traditional theme dolls made by the children at the orphanages we support, as well as traditional Russian craft items. Our 2012 Festival Raffle tickets will be available – WIN – “Red Sox vs. Yankees” tickets – includes round trip LIMO and spending $$$ at the park!! - WIN – “James Taylor in concert” tickets – includes transportation!! – WIN - ”Patriots vs. NY Jets” tickets!
